The “most” LEDed Hotel of the World

 

Adam & Eve Hotel one circle of the chain of hotels built and managed by Kayı Group in Antalya Belek has a space of 100.000 m² in the forest and at the seaside. It’s also known as the first hotel in the world which was illuminated only with LED Lighting Systems.  In this hotel of “mosts” about 4 million LEDs were used in total.

 

The most striking feature of this place is the use of mirror together with whiteness, glass and light. White color reflects purity of the heaven on earth, mirror reminds that guests’ll never stay alone while glass defines the wish to observe without limiting the richness of life and light represents the options of individual use.

 

Adam & Eve Hotel offers 550 rooms with different width and features from one another like standard, family suite, villa, deluxe villa and Adam & Eve Suite. Standard rooms designed as “off standard” contrary to their name are at least 64 m². Each standard (off) room has a terrace of 16 m², a dressing room and a therapy Jacuzzi. The Adam & Eve suite located at the fifth floor of the hotel with two living rooms, two therapy Jacuzzi, two bars, two large terraces and a kitchen has a space of 1000 m². There are also 24 villas of 128-640 m² wide. All of these different rooms’ and villa types’ lighting were created according to the design of the place.

 

Atrium located at the center has a ceiling of 25m² height and a floor of 175m² length. On the floor there are two way specially designed trees with logos of the hotel and cube apples illuminated by LED on them lengthwise. With a space of approximately 120.000 m² in total atrium which was decorated by with 5 million mirrors of 5 cm x 5 cm size has 6 restaurants, 4 bars and 14 stores. 96 m long Bluetooth Bar found in atrium stands out as a place both multifunctional and visually different.

 

From the point of design, LED Lighting System comes out as the most unique feature of Adam & Eve Hotel. All of the lighting system was created with RGB LED System including inside of the pools. LED Linear Lighting of 13,5 km length was used in the application and the lighting system of all living spaces was designed for special and individual use. Taking over with many optional color lighting alternatives changeable in rooms which can also be changed according to audio frequency, individual use turns each room into a ‘light therapy’ center. All restaurants, bars, halls, pools, SPA center and common places were illuminated with lighting techniques in this way. Apart from LED linear lighting, different LED products were used in different places and different solutions were made.   

 

The feature of all of the lighting system including inpools allows the color to dominate the place with a remote control whenever you want. RGB LED Lighting System was created with 8 different light effects loaded which were selected by the design group for the interior of the ceiling found in rooms covering all of the ceiling. These light effects open in white color with the connection of room card system when you enter the room. Then, by pushing modes on the remote control like the effect of different color, speed and color changing, rainbow effect, music or sound sensitive music effect, the ambiance you wish is created in the room. These personal alternatives of options make the use of light system enjoyable.

 

Under the guidance of design group, bedside reading lights were specially designed and a lighting solution which will provide an acute bedside light while being used for reading light was applied through the translucent ceiling. This lighting was also provided with a remote control to which RGB LED Linear Lighting System was adapted found within the ceiling.

 

Lighting solutions about design were selected for places, different light effects were loaded from rooms into remote controls and were brought into use.

 

Functional special solutions and products boutique were applied by designing for common places of hotel and the design. These products were used to create a point effect where you want in the design by designing a special product of 5x5cm for the suspended ceiling interior. By working coordinately with the design group, products were selected as requested for the effects, products specially requested were designed as requested, manufactured and applied.   

 

The use of LED Systems in the hotel brings visuality, functionality and many advantages together. When LED’s lifetime is considered to be about 100.000 hours and in case of a 8-hour use daily, LEDs have the advantage of a life span lasting over 35 years. By energy saving LEDs, the costs from infrastructure to transformer power are decreased. The fact that LED lighting kits don’t heat while being the sources of cold light, cooling systems aren’t charged with electricity. When the exchange of voltage problem in Turkey is taken into consideration, LED lighting kits operating up to a fall of 150 W without any loss of performance remove a great disadvantage on this matter.
